Man arrested and in custody
Detectives are investigating reports of rape in Oakhampton yesterday [Sunday 9 July].
The incident allegedly took place between 2 am and 2.15 am today on Fore Street, in Okehampton.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, is being supported by specialist officers.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in custody.
Officers are appealing witness and dashcam footage.
