Woman expected to fully recover
A man will appear in front of Plymouth magistrates on Monday charged with attempted murder in Plymouth.
Police were called to reports of a serious assault at an address in Francis Street in the Stonehouse area of the city around 11.35 p.m. on Saturday 27 August.
A 34-year-old woman with a stab wound was taken to Derriford Hospital by ambulance.
Her injuries are not considered to be life threatening and she is expected to make a full recovery
David MacCallum, 42, from Stonehouse, Plymouth has been charged in connection with the incident.
