Israel Augustus to appear before Plymouth Magistrates'
A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Plymouth.
Officers were called to a property on Lipson Road at around 3.55am on Friday 21 February following reports of a disturbance.
A man in his 30s was injured and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Israel Augustus, aged 25, of Pulford Road in London, has been charged with applying a destructive substance with intent to burn/maim/disfigure/do grievous bodily harm, and participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group.
He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of a class B drug (cannabis), possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, being concerned in the supply of a class A drug (cocaine), being concerned in an offer to supply a class A drugs (MDMA and ketamine), aggravated burglary and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He is being held in remand and is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 8 March.
