Ollie Watkins scores on Three Lions debut
Former Exeter City star Ollie Watkins, who was playing in League Two for the Grecians just four years ago, scores on his England debut as Gareth Southgate's side beat San Marino 5-0 in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
The 25-year-old forward, who came through Exeter's illustrious academy, came off the bench to score with his first attempt at goal late in the second half.
Speaking after the final whistle, Watkins said: "I'm speechless to be honest, It's what I dreamed about. I didn't know it would happen! It's been a good journey, I just feel honoured that I can put on the England shirt and score."
