Seven fire appliances have been at a blaze at a Torquay hotel.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue say they were called on Tuesday morning and immediately mobilised three teams from Torquay and Paignton alongside an aerial Ladder Platform from Torquay and a supporting officer.
When they arrived, crews called for additional resources from Paignton and Newton Abbot.
The fire involved the ground floor single storey extension at the back of the four storey hotel.
A room-by-room search of the premises took place to ensure there are no persons in the property.
