Standing-room only for Conservative councillor's same-sex ceremony
On the first day that same-sex weddings were legalised, the mayor of Exmouth married his long-term partner at a historic ceremony at the town hall over which he presides.
East Devon MP Hugo Swire, who had originally opposed a change in the law, changed his mind to vote FOR it. He was in Exmouth to celebrate with the mayor and his new husband, David Marston, in Manor Gardens.
