The single-car collision happened on Hulham Road
Police are appealing for witnesses after a single-car crash in Exmouth on Monday [31 March], which left the driver with serious injuries.
The incident involved a silver Subaru Legacy on Hulham Road at around 8.30am.
The driver had to be freed from the vehicle by the fire service, before they were taken to the RD&E hospital.
Hulham Road remained closed for around three-and-a-half hours to allow for a forensic examination of the collision scene and for highways workers to clean away any remaining debris.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses of the incident, or anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward quoting log 90 of 30 March 2020.
