    Domestic violence to increase over festive break

    With domestic violence expected to increase in Devon over Christmas, local support services are urging victims to seek help.


    Family tensions, financial pressures and increased alcohol intake are all factors that contribute to a spike in incidents during the festive period.

    Rachel Martin from Against Domestic Violence and Abuse says advice is always available - but anyone in real danger of physical harm shouldn't hesitate to call the police..
