Tributes have been paid to PC Duncan McIntyre
A serving Devon and Cornwall Police officer has died with covid.
PC Duncan McIntyre passed away on Monday at Derriford Hospital.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Duncan was a well-respected officer whose experience and professionalism will be missed by all who knew him.
"It is always devastating to hear of the death of a member of our policing family and my thoughts are very much with Duncan’s family, friends and close colleagues.
"Everyone at Devon and Cornwall Police sends them our heartfelt condolences at this very sad time.”
Superintenent Adrian Leisk, the roads policing strategic lead for the force, shared his tributes on Twitter.
