Police appealing for witnesses
It happened in the Winkleigh Area. A number of commercial properties were broken into in the early hours of Tuesday 4 September.
PC Adam Williams said: “During the incident, the offender(s) have stolen a bicycle which was later found abandoned near the village hall. Entry was gained by smashing windows and items taken include two tills containing cash, an electric screwdriver, an air nail gun and chocolate.
“I’d appeal to anyone in the village who has CCTV footage to have a look at footage between the hours of 3am and 5am on Tuesday 4 September to help us identify anyone who might be involved.
“If you have any CCTV, saw any suspicious behaviour or have any information please contact police”.
