Exeter's bus depot could move from the city centre if plans by Stagecoach are approved.
The company has applied for permission to build a new depot and maintenance base near the Matford Park and Ride area at Marsh Barton.
It says this will protect 500 jobs in Exeter.
It will also create space for the proposed new swimming pool at the current bus station site off Paris Street.
Councillors are expected to consider the plans later this year.
