The south west ambulance service has warned that it's close to declaring major incident status because of unprecedented demand for both emergency and non-emergency services.
Bosses say the number of calls over the weekend was extremely high and posed a serious threat to their ability to meet demand.
They're urging people to think twice before calling an ambulance - unless they really do need urgent medical attention.
