    Lib Dems keep control of North Devon

    Conservative lose nearly half their seats

    The Liberal Democrats have retained their majority control of North Devon District Council, with 22 of its 42 seats.

    A poor set of results for the Conservatives left them with just seven seats, while Labour failed to claim a single seat on the council once more.

    The Green party is one seat up on its 2019 campaign, while the Independents walked away with eight seats.
