They may not be part of the traditional Nativity scene - but llamas will feature in Exeter's pre-Christmas tableau in the city centre this afternoon.
Sheep, a donkey and the llamas will join actors representing Mary and Joseph, the shepherds and three wise men, as they parade down the High Street to the Cathedral.
Local children have been invited to join the procession and gather in the stable where the nativity scene will be staged.
