10-year prevention order too
A north Devon man has been who sexually abused three children over a three-year period has been jailed for two years.
Dale Padmore was found guilty of six counts of sexual activity with a child on Monday (24 May) following a trial at Exeter Crown Court.
The 22-year-old, of Belvedere Road, Ilfracombe, sexually assaulted the three victims between 2014 and 2017.
He was also given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offender register for 10 years. He is also subject to a restraining order forbidding any contact with one of the victims for 10 years.
Detective Constable Nick Rowell was the officer in the case. He said: “Despite committing these crimes, Padmore tried to maintain his innocence.
“However, I am pleased he has been brought to justice and I hope each of the three victims can take some relief from that, which will allow them to move on with their lives.”
