A fire which has severely damaged a derelict farmhouse near Cranbrook is being treated as arson - along with a separate fire in Dawlish.
Fire crews were called out to Yarlington Mill in the early hours of this morning and found the thatched building well alight and in danger of collapsing.
They had to withdraw from some sections but continued to fight the blaze for several hours.
Meanwhile it's thought a fire in Dawlish last night was also started deliberately.
Firefighters had to use masks and decontamination equipment after finding that the roof of the burning building in Old Teignmouth Road contained asbestos - the timber-framed structure was left with 50 per cent damage.
