Tiverton is the venue for the World Christmas Cracker Throwing Championships today.
The event's organised by Wacky Nation and is open to men, women and children, with prizes in all categories.
However, competitors are disqualified for telling bad jokes, singing carols out of tune or pulling their cracker.
Last year's winner was an eight year old boy who managed to throw his cracker 13.57 metres.
The event runs between 11am and 1pm.
