Library users in Exeter can start borrowing books, CDs and DVDs again today after a few weeks with no service.
The central library, which is the busiest in Devon, has closed for a major revamp and refurbishment.
Today a temporary library opens in the building next door, offering a selection of adults and children's books which will be refreshed regularly, along with music and film.
It also has a newspaper and magazine reading room, computer facilities, and a function room available for group hire.
