In a field near Bridgwater, the M5 'Willowman' has been an attraction for high-speed motorists for more than 20 years. Over the years, Sedgemoor District Council's spent more than £100,000 touching him up. Now he's looking shabby again, but the council says it has more important things to spend its cash on.
Willowman's owner and creator Serena de la Hay has tried to raise money for repairs, but without success.
