Exmoor Zoo welcomes twins
Two red pandas have been born at a Devon Zoo.
A pair of pandas were relocated at Exmoor Zoo from Bristol during the summer, because of its closure. Shifumi and Pan (the parents) have now given birth to twin female cubs, marking the first time the zoo has celebrated the birth of red pandas.
After 90 days of keeping the cubs hidden, Shifumi finally allowed them out of the nest box, much to the excitement of visitors.
A spokesperson for Exmoor Zoo confirmed the cubs would be kept at the zoo with their parents.
