People in Exeter look set to be given more options to recycle their household waste.
Exeter City Council is planning to extend the range of household items that can be collected by putting in new containers at sites for waste items that are not currently accepted.
As residents increase the amount of recycling in their green bin collection, the call for containers at fixed sites for plastics and cans has very much reduced. Because of this, the Council is proposing that the containers are now used for other items such as textiles, shoes and small electrical goods.
