The incident happened near the Exeter Airport slip-road
A pedestrian has died after being hit a Royal Mail lorry on the A30 near Exeter Airport early this morning [6 March].
Police were called just before 2am to the Honiton-bound carriageway, where the person was pronounced dead at the scene,
They are now investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision and how the pedestrian came to be on the A30.
The road was closed while a forensic examination took place.
