Cow is safe after milking parlour drama
A cow's over the moon following an incident near South Molton on Monday evening. She's now back on her hooves and out in a field after falling over in a milking parlour.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue's specialist rescue team was udderely prepared. They used a head collar (for the cow presumably), harness and lines and had the help of a "telehandler" to help get the bovine casualty out of the parlour.
She's now thought to be chewing the cud on her farm at Queens Nympton.
Fire crews from South Molton and Barnstaple were involved. A pat on the head for everyone involved.
