A new school's been given permission to get up and running in temporary buildings in Exwick, before moving to a permanent site.
Exeter city councillors have agreed to allow the Steiner school to begin its life on the site of the former Foxhayes primary, before moving to permanent accommodation at Thomas Hall north of Cowley Bridge Road within two and a half years.
Concerns had been expressed about the extra traffic that would be generated and the fact that 40 per cent of the pupils would come from outside the Exeter boundary.
