Stephen Fogg, 60, was killed in Wembury
Devon police say they're pursuing many active lines of enquiry into the death of a man at a property in Wembury on Thursday.
They have named the victim in this murder investigation as Stephen Fogg, aged 60. His killing is being treated as an isolated incident and there is not believed to be any wider risk to the public.
The public will continue to see an increased level of police activity in the area, as would be expected in such a serious matter.
Police are appealing for anyone who knew Mr Fogg, or saw or spoke to him in the days leading up to 17 December, to come forward.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 0937 of 18 December
Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers via 0800 555111, or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
