Appeals to locate man who went out at 2 one morning and hasn't been seen by loved ones since
A man who left a friend's house in Torquay to go to a shop in the early hours one morning hasn't been seen six weeks on except at a nearby roundabout a day later, has left police concerned for his welfare. They're now appealing for help tracking him down.
John Ahern, 50, disappeared in the early hours of Wednesday 6 June, after leaving a friend's house. In the early hours of the following morning, he was seen close to Kerswell Gardens roundabout at Kingskerswell. Family and friends didn't see him in the intervening 24 hours, and haven't seen him since.
Mr Ahern is short, at 5ft 2ins tall, of a medium build with short grey hair and, the last time he was seen, had stubble. At the time, he was wearing a t-shirt, jeans and trainers..
