Andrei Rautu, 26, in custody
A Cullompton man is now in custody awaiting trail for kidnapping or falsely imprisoning someone with intent to commit a sexual offence in the town on Wednesday 5 May.
Twenty-six year-old Andrei Rautu of Exeter Road, Cullompton appeared in front of Exeter magistrates on Bank Holiday Monday and was remanded in custody until 25 June when he will appear at Exeter Crown Court.
Police have not released further details of the alleged offence.
