Two lorry drivers have been seriously injured after their vehicles collided head on in East Devon.
The A 35 at Gammons Hill near Kilmington is blocked, and police say it could be closed for some time.
A diversion is in place, but traffic is queueing and surrounding roads are very busy.
One driver had to be cut out from his cab by fire crews and was then flown by air ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or phone 101, quoting log 70 of 29/04/19.
