Police say the death of a man in the centre of Exeter last night [5 February] is not believed to be suspicious.
They were called to Mary Arches Street by the ambulance service at 9.30pm, after concerns for the welfare of a man who was unconscious.
Emergency services attended the location and a cordon was put in place and the man was declared deceased at the scene. The man's next of kin have been informed.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
