There's been an increase in the number of accidents, or near accidents involving horses on Devon's roads.
There were 17 incidents in the 12 months to April this year, compared to just seven in the previous year.
The British Horse Society says it's the highest figure in the South West.
The incidents include actual collisions between vehicles and horses, and encounters that have resulted in injury or distress to riders or their horses.
