Transphobic abuse alleged
A suspected transphobically aggravated public order offence in Honiton is being investigated.
A man in his twenties is reported to have been verbally abused in the street outside St Paul's Church in the High Street when transphobic comments are alleged to have been made.
Officers investigating the incident would like to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard anything.
A man aged in his thirties from the Honiton area was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
