Devon's schools look set to benefit from a new education funding system, which the Government says will put an end to the current 'postcode lottery'.
The new formula, announced this week, is aimed at levelling the playing field so that all schools get a set amount of money per pupil, regardless of where they are.
Devon county council says it's still doing its sums to work out the finer details, but thinks many local secondary and primary schools will receive more funding, and that none will lose out.
There will also be more money for vulnerable and special needs children under the new formula.
