Frontline public services in Devon are to benefit from nearly nine million pounds in extra spending by the county council.
Children's services and road repairs and maintenance are among those earmarked for additional cash - with a million pounds ringfenced for emergency work in the case of more storms and flooding.
There's also a sum allocated to help people affected by Government welfare reforms.
