Flash floods have caused significant damage at a National Trust home near Exeter.
Original wood flooring, parts of the garden and some important portraits at Killerton suffered water damage after Thursdays' thunderstorms. The heavy rain led to a leak through the ceiling.
Conservation specialists are to be called into carry out repairs and restoration work, which is expected to take a number of weeks.
The house is still open for visitors in the meantime.
