Blaze is under control 52 hours on, but 80 firefighters still on scene.
More than 80 firefighters are still on the scene of the Cathedral Close fire this morning as the incident enters its third day.
The Royal Clarence Hotel is destroyed. Only some of its facade remains.
They're not putting water or foam on the front of the building this morning, for fear even that part that's still there will crumble, but they are still damping down from the High Street.
A cordon is still in place around large parts of the city centre. Many shops don't have water or gas. It's not known how many will be able to open today.
Services at Exeter Cathedral have either been cancelled or moved. At least one service today will be held at the Chapter House. We understand even the Cathedral has police tape around it.
Overnight, fire crews also had to deal with two cars on fire. One in Ottery St Mary was arson. The occupants fled the scene. The other, at Exeter Airport, was an accident.
In all these fires, no one's been injured or hurt.
