More than four million pounds has been spent transforming the building into a twenty first century facility, with a business and information hub.
There are now 4,000 more adults’ fiction books than the library previously held before it closed in December 2012.
There are also more large print books the number of and children’s books shelves has gone up from 103 to 188.
