Man attacked in Sidwell Street
Police are investigating an allegation of a rape of a man that is believed to have taken place in the early hours of Tuesday 29 March.
It is believed that the assault took place sometime between 4 a.m. and 5.15 a.m. in the grounds surrounding St Sidwell’s Church, Exeter.
A scene guard remains in place in the area.
A 20-year-old man from the Exeter area has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody.
Anyone with any information, or who was in the area during the time of the attack is asked to contact 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/026317/22.
