Two attacked in Whipton last Thursday
An Exeter man is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in the Whipton area of the city last week that left two people seriously injured.
A man in his thirties is still in hospital, where his condition is described as stable. A woman in her twenties was also badly hurt.
They were attacked in an alleyway un the Barberry Close area of Whipton around 9.30pm onThursday 6 May.
It is believed all parties involved know one other.
A 40-year-old local man is in custody.
