Three crews damping down blaze
Crews from Danes Castle, Middlemoor and Bovey Tracey are currently damping down a fire at Doddiscombsleigh, near Teign Valley this morning (25 January).
One large wood store with biomass unit attached was found well alight around half 3 this morning. Safety measures were put into place as it is suspected that gas cylinders may be involved in the fire.
Crews have two main jets and two hose reel jets in use, pumping from open water.
They’re likely to remain on scene well into the day.
