Strike action announced for Devon
Disruption is expected on the railway lines Across Devon and the wider area after planned industrial action was announced.
Great Western Railway and South Western Railway have confirmed that they will both be running a reduced service on the days of the strike.
Here's what's expected
Great Western Railway - Wednesday 27 July
- No services will run in Cornwall, including all branch lines.
- Trains won't run west of Exeter towards Plymouth and Cornwall
- All branch lines across the county will close (Barnstaple, Exmouth, Paignton and Okehampton)
Great Western Railway - Thursday 28 July
- Services will continue to be disrupted, so check before you travel.
Great Western Railway - Saturday 29 July
- Services will only run between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington, Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central, Reading and Oxford and Reading and Basingstoke.
South Western Railway - Wednesday 27 July
- Trains won't run in Devon, with services from London Waterloo terminating at Basingstoke.
South Western Railway - Thursday 29 July
- No trains will run before 07:30
- Services will be busier than usual
