Nearly 12 thousand potholes have been reported on Devon's roads since the start of 2014, according to the county council.
It's trebling the number of pothole repair teams - at a cost of about 65 thousand pounds a week.
Altogether the storm damage the county's seen over the two months could cost 3 million pounds. The national government has said it will foot the bill.
