Police in Devon say too many drivers are using smartphones at the wheel - putting themselves and other road users at serious risk.
During July and August alone there were 330 offences of mobile phone use at the wheel in Devon - and more and more of them involve people checking and updating Facebook or Twitter.
Police say talking on a mobile is bad enough but the level of distraction caused by this kind of activity is particularly dangerous.
