The main Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day service for Devon took place at Exeter Cathedral.
Beforehand, the Lord Mayor of Exeter led a parade from the Guildhall to Northernhay Gardens, where a ceremony was held the War Memorial.
Another major Remembrance Day event took place in Exmouth, where around 3000 people were expected to attend a wreath laying service at the town's war memorial in Strand Gardens.
And local firefighters were also involved in the Armistice Day commerations at Ypres in Belgium.
The service's ceremonial pipes and drums took part in the parade... led by drum major Dave Morley from Exmouth fire station.
