But really Sir Michael Morpurgo is delighted
Devon author Sir Michael Morpurgo says an adaptation of one of his books is better than his orginal work.
A cartoon version of Mimi and the mountain dragon is being shown by the BBC over Christmas. It's the story of a little girl who finds a baby dragon in a woodshed and makes a decision to bring joy and peace at Christmas.
Sir Michael's most famous book is War Horse, which was adapted into a major West End theatre show and a film directed by Steven Spielberg.
Sir Michael claims to be a bit cross that animation company Factory has made a better job of Mimi and the mountain dragon than he did in writing it. But as this short video shows, really he's thrilled with the result.
