An ambitious project's been launched - to recreate Exeter Cathedral in Lego.
The magnificent building will be reproduced in a one-metre high model, made up of more than 300 thousand plastic bricks.
Design work is now underway - with the Lego architects facing several engineering challenges in representing the cathedral's complex features.
Next year local residents will be invited to buy a brick for £1 and help build the model.
The cathedral is also hoping to recruit a band of volunteers to help with the project.
