Exeter residents will be charged up to 45 pounds for new or replacement rubbish bins, under plans being discussed by city councillors later.
They're due to look at various options such as charging people who've bought new houses for their first dustbins.... and will also discuss fees for delivering the bins.
The charges are designed to help recoup the cost to the council of around a hundred thousand pounds a year, to provide replacement bins for those which are lost or damaged.
But people won't have to pay if their bins have been stolen or vandalised.
