Mid Devon council's getting tough on motorists who don't pay to park overnight in its car parks.
The council agreed to introduce charges in February but up until now, drivers who didn't display a ticket just got a warning.
But officers will now be patrolling the car parks at night and vehicles not displaying a valid ticket will receive a parking enforcement notice.
