Forget the sea views for now; try the route by the sewage works!
A section of the South West coast path is to be closed for a week or so becuase of cracks opening up on the clifftop.
The section between Budleigh Salterton and Ladram Bay has stunning views of Lyme Bay. But the recent storms have rendered it unsafe.
Devon County Council will take until at least Friday to assess it. It could then be opened again, but if it's judged dangerous, the closure could be extended for work to be carried out.
An alternative route by Otterton Sewage Works has been recommended!
