Local youngsters are getting a boost
Devon County Council has been awarded funding to help encourage more young people in the county to walk, cycle or take public transport to school.
The Access to Education project has received nearly £5 million from the Government’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund.
Devon will receive £700,000 of the funding to target primary and secondary schools in and around Exeter, Totnes and Newton Abbot.
