For the next two summers, one of Exmouth's main attractions is set to return.
Last summer, the attraction was installed on Beach Gardens and saw more than 12, 000 people ride on it during its six week stay.
The operator of the big wheel says a planning application has been submitted that would see the wheel return for the next two years.
"The full 28m height offers spectacular views. It features 20 gondolas, capable of carrying six adults or eight children.
"There is a simultaneous loading of four gondolas at each of the wheels five stops, and there are more than 6, 000 multi coloured lights to create a spectacular light show."
If planning permission is accepted, the wheel would stand between 24th March to 6th September 2018, and April 15th to 9th September 2019.
